Drapes
Your draperies are very sensitive to their environment, and over time, constant exposure to the sunlight will weaken fibres causing colour fading or streaking.
Humidity also affects different fabrics in varying ways by either shrinkage or stretching. Humidity will create condensation and produce watermarks, which are very difficult to remove during the cleaning process.
If your draperies do become watermarked, it is important that you promptly arrange for cleaning. Fresh stains are more likely to be removed safely and completely.
Regular maintenance of your draperies will help prolong their useful life. We recommend cleaning every two to three years and every year for your sheers. Bring in your drapes, and we can advise on what you can expect in the cleaning process.
